Franz Jägerstätter, today we celebrate his beatification.

Today we visited the beatificaton ceremony in the Maria Empfängnis Cathedral in Linz, Austria. Here a short guest comment from my friend "Dot".

I must say he's a real martyr who is ready to die in behalf of his belief to God's love. He was executed because of he refused to serve the Nazi regime, which is a really brave act.

He is a great example to mankind. He followed the steps of Christ and insisted his faith in God.

Auch für uns gibt es kein glückliches Auferstehen, bis wir nicht bereit sind, für Christus und unseren Glauben zu leiden und wenn es sein muß auch zu sterben.

Believers and Deniers

Yesterday I heard about an atheist association, their goal is to attack the belief in GOD (world wide) and to characterize all believers as "nuts" or maniacs.

But who is nuts? I personally experienced the safeguarding hand of GOD in multiple ways. Things happend where nobody can say "It's by chance". The probability for such things to happen by accident is far too low. I remember that I got answers to my prayers - immediately, in an uncommon way and with a reaction time faster than a second. This is the handwriting of GOD, not mine.
Negating the spiritual world (in us) is like obtruncating ourselves. Without believing - how can I have hope in this world? Show me!

Atheists often praise progress and science. But simply read the newspapers - where is the progress? The real progress - not the progress that my computer runs a little bit faster (hmm Vista...). Did medicine beat cancer? Although research receives so much money? Does youths avoid drugs because our modern, enlightened world gives them so much hope? Simply no.

The material world doesn't fulfill the needs of our soul. That's it. Or in other words: A donut can make you happy only for a while - but not forever.

I found a very interesting link about the archeological and historical evidence of Jesus Christ - let's take a look at it: Facts About Jesus
